(This is loosely excerpted from an e-mail msg to Fu & others).....I enjoyed the Navy, especially them Okinawan hooches, so much I stuck around for 21 yrs spending half at NSA and the rest back on Oki, Guam and other flowers of the Pacific. Retired from the Nav in 1980 and hooked up with a contractor on a SPAWAR contract that continues to date...spend most of my time at NSA, but travel inside the beltway to NRL and other gray/shady buildings occasionally...not yet really tired of it all, and the wife won't let me stay home longer that a weekwend without claiming I get in her way, so looks like 2000 is my magic number at this point...how 'bout you...(to Fu)...right down the road in Burke! We're halfway between Balt/Annapolis in Millersville. What's Wes (Gillespie) up to? Geez the memories are rolling in as i poke the keys...I can still see you taping that logo advertisement up for a motel chain to Wes's bedroom window in Oki when you lost a trivia bet with him -- fun times! How 'bout Pfeiffer, the black angus rancher from Illinois? I could go on to midnite with reminiscenses but how 'bout we check schedules and connect for a face to face... You'll recognize me, I'm the old bald buy with the Navy CPO beer gut... GREAT to hear from you again!
