Rebirth

This land is perfect for training, noone around for miles. The temple of the Mew is so far away from civilization . There was no way anyone could interfear with his training. He has found a place for the Neko-ken training. Genma knew that Ranma just needs to drop Ranma into a pit of cats to learn the Neko-ken. There was even a dark pit next to a statue that may be sold for some sake. Genma, tearing the statue from its base, started thinking where to sell it. Genma, knowing that his son needs to learn this, to be able to support Genma in the future, hurled Ranma into the pit. Genma, ignoring the screams of pain, went to get drunk and write to Tendo about his son’s progress in the Art. It will take atleast five hours, he thought to himself since the boy is so lazy.

Ranma is screaming, the little monsters tearing him slowly to death. Genma has learned to ignore the screams of pain from his son, after all this would make him into the best martial artists around. With his son’s fame, Genma could live in style for the rest of his life. Then the temple started to hum, maybe it was the ancient gods of the place had been angered. Genma’s desicration and his sacrifice would had enough to have him cursed by the ancient ones. Genma then saw the statue glow, it was moving! The creature was small, white, catlike and had a white tail. Then flew to the pit, Genma following the strange creature until a large boulder covered the pit.

Ranma is crying, the pain seemed unbearable. Then just as sudden, the pain, the cats, and the darkness was gone. The strange creature felt very comforting to Ranma. Then a voice, just like a small child said: Who are you ? This didn’t scare Ranma, getting used to desicrating temples with his father. The old legends that are told sometimes had a grain of truth. Then again somtimes they are all true. Ranma replied “Ranma Saotome,” the creature didn’t look dangerous, aside of it floating in midair. The quiet was again broken “What do you want?”
