Play as Captain Falcon - To play as Captain Falcon simply beat the game with any character on at least normal difficulty in under twenty (20) minutes. After the credits you値l have to fight Falcon. Once you致e defeated Falcon, you値l be able to choose him.
Play as Jigglypuff - To play as Jigglypuff beat the game with any character on any difficulty. After the credits you値l have to fight Jigglypuff. Once you致e defeated Jigglypuff, you値l be able to choose her.
Play as Ness - To play as Ness beat the game with any character on at least normal difficulty without continuing(must have only three lives). After the credits you値l have to fight Ness. Once you致e defeated Ness, you値l be able to choose him.
Play as Luigi - To play as Luigi simply beat Bonus Practice 1 with the original eight characters. You値l then have to fight Luigi. Once you致e defeated Luigi, you値l be able to choose him.
Unlock the Mushroom Kingdom - To unlock the Classic Super Mario Bros. stage for use in the versus mode, simply beat the game with all eight original characters on at least normal difficulty with three lives.
Unlock Sound Test - To unlock the Sound Test menu in the Data mode, simply complete Bonus Practice 1 and 2 with all twelve characters.
Unlock Item Switch - To unlock the Item Switch menu, simply play as the versus mode 50 times.
