*Conduct research and development on computer based distance learning.

Developed alliance with Leadingway Corporation to bring their KnowledgeOne System to the Korean market. KnowledgeOne merges eLearning & Knowledge Management into one seamless application.  The first company in Korea to adopt this system was LG-EDS at its internal Technical University. LG-EDS will partner with our Digital Learning Institute to bring this next generation technology to its clients in the Asian market. Other international research alliances are being developed with Community Intelligence Labs (CIL) in the field of Knowledge Ecosystems; we are jointly building a community of practice on this topic, which explores methods of integrating on-line, an off-line learning into a natural process with a holistic approach to learning in the digital age.

Prepare Asia briefings, arrange and staff official state meetings, ceremonies and events with Asian

leaders. Arrange inter-governmental meetings with visiting political leaders and diplomats, including:

regional / local politicians, Ambassadors, Consul Generals, Economic officials from Japan, Korea, China,

Taiwan and ASEAN nations In 1999 coordinated official state welcome of His Holiness the Dalai Lama to

Arrange for reverse trade missions bringing international buyers to Indiana manufacturers and service providers.

expansion. Develop and implementation of business plans and market entrance strategy with multiple private entities. Conceptualized and introduced Indiana’s first ever, joint marketing effort for educational service providers.

Sales Manager Agropisa S.A. Heidelberg, Germany Branch Office 12/91 - 01/93

Export sales management, transportation, and documentation. The parent company based in Lima, Peru employed me to set up lines of distribution for their “white asparagus”. This product is an off season product in Germany, that is to say, it is grown in Peru, in Germany’s winter time when local fresh produce in this category in unavailable. I set up two lines of distribution at the wholesale level; the business operated successfully for one season after 2 months of marketing, however because of the collapse for the Peruvian Government the parent company was unable to complete its production and delivery schedule. 

                           

 

Market Development Intern United States Embassy - Madrid, Spain 11/89

Acted as market development representative at the International Show for Information Technology.

Quickly developed plan for familiarization with various IT products, conducted interviews and created product information “Job Tools” in Spanish for use in the trade event.
