Freaky Friday
Widgets are available for windows! Yahoo! Widgets. I believe that they are going to catch on very fast. So I suggest you get them before everyone else does. That way you can act like its nothing when your friends discover it ten years later. There are a butt load of widgets available. Once installed there are some useful widgets preinstalled: Clocks, Calendar, Yahoo! Weather, Yahoo! Maps, Yahoo! Mail Checker, Memory Gauge, Wifi Signal, iTunes Remote, Battery, and more. It goes even beyond that. Anyone can build their own widget. One thing to take note of is that I checked the Memory Usage. I would avoid having a bunch of widgets running at one time, especially if you don't have a lot of memory installed.
On a sad note, Nikon made a press release. They will be focusing more on the digital camera business. Production of all large format Nikkor lenses and enlarging lenses, as well as several of their film camera bodies, manual focus Nikkor interchangeable lenses and related accessories. Sales of these products will cease as supplies are depleted. Only the F6 and the FM10 cameras will continue to be made.
Fridays are going to suck. I have to drive to school 645am to make my 730am math class that is only 50 minutes. I made today worth my while by going to the library after class, but I fell asleep for about 2 hours then did a little math.
I think I'm getting sick.

Another Late Night Update
I knew I would see this coming (Link). Sharp will be the first to mass produce a two way LCD screen. Press release was date back in July, so that means that they had been working on the technology for a while now. That sucks for Jeremy Newton of NYU Interactive Telecommunications Program. Newton based his Masters thesis on the idea of a single LCD screen having simultaneously displaying 2 screens, A Shift in Time. He's just a little late.
A word of advice, do not take 4-5 hours naps in the afternoon. I didn't sleep at night. I recommend taking about a 30 minute power nap. Also avoid sleeping at the library, I notice that falling asleep, while sitting and resting your head on the desk, causes one to breath air into your stomach. That would cause the air to come back out by either burbing or straight out the back door if it sits in your stomach long enough.
Thinking back to Tuesday, the new season of Scrubs aired. It looked different and didn't seem as funny compared to the past seasons. I confirmed this through my other source (thanks tiff!). Not to say that it wasn't funny, but rather it seemed to have lost a lot of momentum. I did enjoy the Kung Fu part.

Late night update
So I'm starting to get around a lot more easier on Dreamweaver 8 and CSS. I should actually be working on my Engineering homework right now, but I'm starting to enjoy putting this web page together.
Today in engineering, the class had to form groups for our upcoming project, "Reverse-Engineering." I chose to be the project manager. I don't know if that was a good idea to put myself in the position of telling people what to do, but we'll see how it goes. The good thing is that my team members are familiar with mechanics, so they have good technical skills.
Today's I found a great podcast site, Zoe's Radio Show . Its has a great playlist of songs that featuring One Block Radius, The Hold Steady, Okkervil River, Brendan Benson, Alaska!, The Break and Repair Method, Dios Malos, Art Brut, Fannypack, Natasha Benningfield, Kanye West, Fallout Boy, Deerhoof, Jamie Lidell, The New Pornographers, The Books, and Ted Leo. Its amazing that she is only 15. I recommend you check it out.
Its already past midnight, so it the 12th already, which means 2 important things. Its time to pay the bills, and its the day my girlfriend and I got together, so a big shout out goes out goes to you Tiff <3 . That makes it a very bitter sweet day. I have to fork out the cash to pay bills, but its also my anniversary. I guess I can see how other people would consider that to be a very bitter day.

First week of school
De Anza finally started. I think this quarter will be much more beneficial than being at SFSU. I'm signed up for math, Intro to Engineering, and Intro to Unix/Linux. Although what I do hate is this guy in my Unix class who needs to shut the hell up, let the teacher do the talking and quit making smart ass remarks!
IOver time I will be adding little bits and pieces here and there often rather than spend one large amount of time on it. Until next time...

webPage design.
Burnt is my first design for a webPage. I obtained the template from www.OSWD.com. Quick and dirty. I'm still in the process of putting it together. Bare with me, I need to learn CSS.
