Izark is a wandering swordsman who seems to have greater strength and faster speed than any
other people are in his world. When Izark first saw Noriko in the forest where Mezame
was expected to appear (prophets predicted that Mezame will appear in that forest),
Izark wanted to kill her but he saved her from the strange big worms instead. Later, Izark
tried to protect her by hiding her real identity and taught her how to speak in his language.
Izark has long black hair and black eyes but sometimes, his eyes seem to be green or blue. Izark is actually the Tenjoki that many people are looking for and he himself knew this truth since he was young. In fact, he was raise up as 'the son of devil' by his parents because they signed a agreement with a devil for wealth. When he left his home at the age of 12, the whole village was burned down with a unknown reason. When he turn into Tenjoki, scales appear on his skin, his skin becomes a colour of blackish green, his eyes colour turn watery blue, his feet and hands become claws, a horn appear on his forehead and lots of blades appear on his body.
