Titled Kanata Kara (English: From Far Away, Chinese: ¨Ó¦Û»·¤è), this manga is one of the works of Kyoko Hikawa. The series ended with the 14th volume. This is a story about an 17-year-old girl, named Noriko and her travels in another world.
Noriko was transported into another world with an identity as Mezame when she was caught in a bomb explosion. There, she met a mysterious man, named Izark who wanted to kill Mezame for some reasons but ends up saving her instead. Soon, Noriko began travelling with Izark, and explore the strange world with a different language and culture.
Unaware of her own identity, Noriko finds out that the world is in chaos and many people are all searching for Mezame. In a legend of that world, it was said that Mezame will awaken Tenjoki, one who is predicted to have the great power and the ability to cause destruction to the world; and it was believed that only Mezame can control Tenjoki. Puzzled by the happenings in that world, Noriko finds herself involved in many dangers...
