American cels and Animation Art
I have very few American cels, most of which aren't worth the effort to scan. But here are the few pieces of American animation art that are my favorites.

This is a cute cel of Leonardo from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. I have a very large and comprehensive TMNT collection of toys and merchandise, but this is the only cel I've bought. I just love Leonardo. He's been my favorite character ever since I first read the Leonardo special comic by Eastman and Laird. Unfortunately in the first movie, they gave Leo's finest moment to Raphael, but I still like Leo better. |

These are the most important pieces of North American animation art that I own. I got them from Celebrities Animation Gallery in Canada. They're story boards from the Teddy Ruxpin cartoon. These 4 story boards are done in pencil, taped together in places. They show a song sequence for the song "Gimmick". |

I'm nearly 100% sure that the lyrics on this page are incorrect, at least as they were actually sung in the episode. Grubby's line in the second panel should read "Just might need ignoring." Repeating the word "exploring" twice just sounds totally wrong. I guess I could be wrong and just not hearing the lyric right, but I like "ignoring" better. It's a lot cuter. |

I have been searching for Teddy Ruxpin cels for a while, but I've yet to find anyone who has any. I was SO excited to get these story boards! At least I have something from my all-time favorite N. American cartoon series. |

"So what the heck is Teddy Ruxpin?" I hear you ask. Or you might be saying "Isn't Teddy Ruxpin that silly talking toy from the 1980's?" To find out more about the Teddy Ruxpin cartoon series, a wholly underrated show that isn't often given the credit it deserves, please visit Tweeg's Tower, my Teddy Ruxpin fandom website. |
