Nage no Kata (throwing forms)

The Nage no Kata consists of fifteen representative techniques, three from each of the five categories of throwing techniques (Nage Waza).

Uki-otoshi Uki-goshi Okuri-ashi-harai
Seoi-nage Harai-goshi Sasae-tsurikomi-ashi

Each technique is performed first from the right, and then from the left. This is true for all techniques except for Uki-goshi. This throw is performed first from the left and then from the right.
