Lord Zairatu is the lord of the city of Xahutec, and since the cities reconstruction has started spawning great numbers of warriors as a bodyguard, for Xahutec attracts many raiders from across the sea, due to it's nearness to the coast. Among his most prized possessions is the Plaque of Quenn 'Talia Xann, one of the few remaining Plaques from the time of the Old Ones. With this Plaque, worn around Zairatu's neck like a pendant, he can control the minds of his enmies, causing great confusion in their ranks.
Zairatu is also a great studier of the lizardman God Tepoc, Lord of the Mind. He has inherited from the ruins of manyb Temple Cities weapons of this God. These weapons can be used, as the Plaque, to affect the minds of the enemy.
Xahutec was recently approached by New Ones from the Land of Ulthuan, and a small group of men from across the World Pond. They requested that he and his army accompany them to destroy the Chaos Forces attacking the Old World. Little did they know that at the very moment Chaos Hordes were arriving on the beaches ar away, after crossing from Naggaroth on Dark Elf Warships.

Weapons/Armour: Lord Zairatu carries Tepoc's Mace of the Mind which counts as a hand weapon
Save: Slaan Mage Priests have a 4+ save, from the Shield of the Old Ones that they carry.
Options: If your army has a battle, standard, it may be afixed to Zairatu's Palanquin. It may be a magic standard if you wish.
Magic Items: Zairatu carries four magic items: the Plaque of Quen' Talia Xann, Tepoc's Mace of the Mind, the Amulet of Sotek's Wrath, and a Bufo's Hex Scroll. As a Mage Lord, Zairatu may take one more magic item.
Special Rules
Cold Blooded Zairatu is cold blooded, and so is slow top react to psychology or fear. When taking a Leadership test, always throw three dice and select the lowest two.
Telepathy At the start of the Lizardman Magic Phase, Zairatu may exchange one spell with any other Slaan Mage Priest on the battlefield.
Shield of the Old Ones The Slaan, the planaquin and its bearers all lie under a powerful protective spell, known as the Shiel of the Old Ones. The entire model has a saving throw of 4+ on 1D6 against each wound suffered. This is not modified by attack strength. Wounds caused by items that do not allow armour saving throws can still be saved with the Shield of the Old Ones, as it is not actually armour. For more details, consult Warhammer Armies - Lizardmen.
Palanquin and Bodyguard The Palanquin, the Mage Lord and his Bodyguard are all taken to be one model. Any magical weapon carried by the Slaan affects the entire model. All enemy attacks against the model are taekn as a whole i.e. the Mage Priest is only destroyed once the entir modelhas been destroyed.
Topec's Mace of the Mind Any enemy wounded by this wepaon are subject to stupidity, as Tepoc inhales their minds into the rift. If a wizard is wounded and attempts to cast a spell it is negated on a dice roll of 1-3
Amulet of Sotek's Wrath When the character wearing this item is killed, the amulet shatters, spraying the surrounding area with flying crystal shard. All models within the range of the character's original number of wounds sustain 1 automatic hit with a strength of the characters plus 1D6. Any wound inflicted causes D6 wounds. Normal saving throws apply.
Bufo's Hex Scroll This dispel may be directed against any hostile spell directed against the wizard and/or the unit he is with. The caster is immediately turne into a small, smelly and quite insignificant frog. While it is a frog the unfortunate victim may not cast spells, and all his or her characteristics are reduced to one. Roll 1D6 at the start of each subsequent magic phase. On a roll of 4+ the spell dissipates and the wizard returns to his/her normal form. If the victim is killed while a frog he does return to life after the spell wears off.
The Plaque of Quen' Talia Xann At the beginning of a battle, each unit on the opposing side must take a leadership test. If they fail this test, they are said to have left the army, and are making their way back home. Due to this, on every turn after the second turn, the opposing player rolls 1D6, and consults this table, adding a 1 for every turn that has gone by, except the first:

Exceptions:
War Machines If War Machines fail the test and are lost, then only the crew disappear in a huff, not the machine itself. when they are returned they are placed next to the Machine immediately, and may fire as normal.
Mounted characters Mounted characters, not including knights or other mounted units, do not have to take the test.
Frenzy and Hatred Troops that suffer frenzy or hate the opposing players do not have to take the test.
