The night started off well. Monkey and Ash sat down to a nice game of Super Mario Kart for the Super Nintendo. Monkey was quite good at the game and beat Ash 20 times in a row! Ash was thretening Monkey by saying crazy things like "If you win one more time, I'm going to kill you."
Monkey shrugged off the threat and played at his normal skill level. The next match started. Ash didn't press (A) at the right time and didn't get the power start he was looking for. Monkey quickly drove over the weapon box and found a red shell and fired it. The heat seeking shell connected and blew Ash's cart straight in the air. Ash tried hard and drove around trying to juke the clever monkey but to no avail. Monkey had crushed Ash, 3 balloons to zero.
Monkey looked over at Ash and said, "I won again! I'm really good at this game!"
"Well hello Mr. Fancypants!!!!" Ash replied harshly. "I think it is time I taught you a lesson or two!" Ash stood up, grabbed his shotgun and reved his chainsaw!
"What is that thing?" Monkey asked looking at Ash's shotgun.
"This? This is my BOOMSTICK!" he yelled!
But Monkey didn't even flinch.
Monkey showed no sign of fear and nicely said "Put that Boomstick down Ash, let's play another round. I'll let you win this time!"
