Ok... so maybe you can't get "trapped" under the ice but you can get below it! This also solves the mystery of the hole at the bottom of Zora's Domain.
I was fooling around with Gameshark today and I came up with an idea. I had seen a variation of this trick on Odyssey of Hyrule, so I attempted it a few times, but I couldn't get it to work. So then I got an even easier idea! Here's what I came up with:

This trick requires a Gameshark 2.2. Put in the Moonjump code and start a game where you are an adult. Go to Lake Hylia and go over to the side of the "wall" and face towards where the entrance to Zora's Domain is. Now press L to begin to go up and hold back until you get over the wall boudary and can see under the ground. Look for a little grey spot near the entrance to Zora's Domain and start going towards it. When you get to it, it should transport you to Zora's Domain under the frozen ice! Now slap on your Iron Boots as soon as you get in or else you will float to the top and go through the ice and have to do the trick again. Check out the hole at the bottom and find out the mystery for yourself! Enjoy! (you might want to change into that Zora's Tunic hanging in your closet before attempting this trick!) |
