Programmer's Screen

Video Gamer X, of Odyssey of Hyrule, has discovered a way to view the actual Programmer's/Debug Screen!! This screen can tell you what version you are playing, by what date/time the game was created; what crashed in programmer's code; and more. All you have to do is make the game freeze with a little yellow line in the upper left-hand corner. Here's how to do it:

• 1. Start your game so that you have opened up a file. Put your hand on the cart and start lifting the left site of the cart out of the N64 carefully and slowly.
• 2. Pull it up enough to get the sound disoriented and until the game freezes and the sound stops abruptly.
• 3. Push the cart back down into the system. Look in the upper left-hand corner above your hearts.
  There should be a little yellow line there.
• 4. Enter this code: (all directions (up,down) are on the direction pad and not the analog stick)
  L + R + Z
  Up + C-Down
  C-Up + Down
  Left + C-Left
  C-Right + Right
  A + B + Start
• 5. This should bring up a little black box telling you what crashed!!

So there you have it. As you can tell, this probably, the programmer's code, doesn't make a lot of sense to all of you. But to us hackers, it means a LOT! Have phun!
