I think that the adapter that came with Pokemon Stadium 64 can be used (in Japan) with Zelda DX and Zelda 64 2 get the Triforce. I also think that Zelda OOT is NOT all of Zelda 64. OH HELL NOO Ive looked thru 2 many old magazines and seen 2 many pictrues of towns that arent EVEN in the game. Maybe the Haunted Wasteland Dungeon and my personal (I THINK I discovered it) The ladder in Zoras fountain as a kid. The Triforce IS definitly in Zelda 64 BUT that DOES NOT mean that its in TOOT. The enviroment is just SO DAMN BIG They couldnt cram it all in one game so I leave u with that o and by the way ANYBODY that SAYS they have the triforce but wont tell MIGHT be lying (Like my cousin Chris and his tall tale and fake pics of a ladder match in Warzone) but you never know. Your Good Ol Boy Pal, The Masked Mammoth.

Hey um, guy? I don't know where you're coming from on this Pokemon Stadium 64 making it possible to obtain the Triforce because Pokemon Stadium has aboslutly nothing to do with Zelda at all.

Also, those old pictures you saw are just that, old. They were only Pre-Production copy ideas that were being tested out. Not all of the old pictures you saw were obviously not used in the final copy. Alot of the origonal ideas that were ment to be incorporated into ZOOT weren't able to make it to the final copy, especially all of the Japanesse version making it to the United States. Zelda, like I've said many times before, was rushed out in the US in time for Christmas. This was a good move by Nintendo to put the game in very high demand for the '98 Christmas season, but the game wasn't fully finished hense all the glitches we gamers have found. But all in all, the game had a great turn out and made gamers hungry for more.

EDogMM84@aol.com (no I'm not gonna use the "H:TLoZ Defender" name for you, ya houndin) complains:

hey if you are going to post this on your mailbag then my name is HtLoz Defender. dont post my address. First off how can you critis his site. Your site is a complete mirror of Odyssey of Hyrule. Your menu is just like his. And you say your glitches?? You didnt think up of any of those glitches except maybe 2 that arent even good. Stop critising better sites than yours.
HTLOZ Defender - no way part of there team though

First off, all letters sent to me become property of me so therefor I can use whatever I want from them to go as far as incriminate someone in a court of law... ok maybe I wouldn't go that far, but still. I'll post your address if I feel it's necessary.

I have the right to criticize (it's called spell check buddy) anybody and anything I want to because this is America damn it, and we have something here called the Constitution. The third ammendment to this thing we call the Constitution is the right of Freedom of Speech. It reads...

blah blah blah

So see, I have the right to say whatever the heck I want to say about somebody or something else. Isn't that what America is all about? Being able to do whatever you want?

I'm not criticizing Falco-X's site at all, he has a great site with good information on it. I'm using H:TLoZ to criticize the staff of that site because the way I see them, they aren't nice people and only want the biggest and best things in life and will stop at nothing to get them. They (H:TLoZ staff) take everything good away from the Zelda community yet still give so much back in duplicate of what is already out there. I don't believe they have put out one thing, such as a glitch, tip or trick, ect. that isn't already out there on the net someplace else that they (H:TLoZ) hasn't discovered! They're just taking everybody's findings and throwing them together and trying to take credit for it, which is totally wrong! If I saw one, just one something, that came *EXCLUSIVLY* from H:TLoZ, I would maybe give them some credit (give them some respect and full credit for discovering whatever they found) for actually finding something that somebody else didn't have first.

And the part about me not finding any good glitches?! I found the GS Code to get Swordless Link without going through the process that T-Dog at Odyssey of Hyrule found! I also am the founder of the Swordless Link glitch on ALL versions of the whole entire game!!!!!! Remember how everybody was saying how Swordless Link could only be done on V1.0?! Well they were wrong and I proved them wrong! Now if you don't consider that is finding a good glitch, then I think there's something terribly wrong with you!...And that's all I've got to say about that...

You can also find some new rumors people have sent in in the Rumors section. I've gotten like, 3 I think. All are false, but fun to read (the new ones are false).

I was thinking about how everyone has gone crazy over the BETA stuff. With all this info just released to the public I wonder what nintendo is thinking. I have tried time and time again to get in touch with them before the BETA quest and still they don't reply. Wouldn't it be great if they could release a memory map that shows us where things are located? And also with all of this released not many people have found MAJOR discoveries that I hoped would be found. I cant search and find everything niether can kola, kuky, and others I know of. A quote from matrix "I can only show you the door you are the one that has to walk through it." And it seems no one has been brave enough to do so. I will continue to search for other things but if people dont start finding cool things then i will just take it as you don't care anymore. -The Wise Owl

Actually Owl, this is the reason I'm compiling a GameShark hacking team--to hack those hidden secrets out. IF (and as you can see, that's a big if) there is a Triforce that was meant to be gotten or seen in this game, we will find it.

In response to your Matrix quote "I can only show you the door. You are the one that has to walk through it". This is kind of a true but at the same time false. We have been told time and time again by Nintendo that there is no Triforce in Zelda. Maybe there isn't one in the immediate game, but maybe, just maybe, there was/is some hidden cut scene that didn't make it to the final assembly line. The door may, or may not be there. This is the false part. The true part is, is that we do have the proper tools to totally manipulate this cart to our liking using the new technology Interact has released in the new GameShark Pro. We can go as far as manipulating text and probably anything we want in the game. But see, nobody can find the key to open the door that might or might not be there. All we need is time and hope and maybe a little luck.

Yes, a memory map would be very useful to the hacking team, but I know for a fact Nintendo would not release one. If they did, people could manipulate the cart to where as it wasn't Zelda anymore. It could be made into a totally different game with time and then could be sold and marketed on the black market as something like "The Dark Side of Shelda", having to change Zelda to Shelda because of the Trademark by Nintendo. So we all know that won't happen.

I've found the "second" Beta Quest! Yup! I really have! And for V. 1.1 only! This has the effect of the First Beta Quest, but you go to different places! And if we find the Lost Woods... I'm pretty sure you know what I'm thinking. I can't remember the code EXACTLY, but I'm sure you can find plenty of fun things trying to find it. I'll be right back with the conclusion (And hopefully the code)!

(next e-mail)
Sorry about that. Well, anyway, The code is the same for the regular Beta Quest, but the last 2 digits are a little different. I tried it in a pattern, and kept going, PAST the Second Beta Quest. The last 2 Digits of the Regular Beta Quest (20) should be changed. It's one of these digits:[E7] [D6] [C5] [B4] [A3] [92] [81] or [70]. Please reply either at Fortunata6@aol.com or Foxwolf_Blizzard@yahoo.com. Thanks!

Hey, great find! Yea, I noticed how you can change the last digets also to find different scenarios to play around in. The places you enter from Hyrule Field take you different places and there are different things in different places. Such as, in one, the sky is its normal blue color, but there are lots of big trees around that are in different places than where the origional trees go. I'll add this to the Quest Code section.

Hey,

I'm a big fan of the site. I'm also having a hell of a lot of fun with the Beta Quest. It seems every time the game freezes, you can perform VGX's code. One thing has perplexed me so far, though: How the hell can we give Link a name?!?!?! Every time we try to view Link's name in dialogue the game just print a jumbled square and crashes. Think of the things we could uncover... We could find out what happens after you open the Door of Time! We could talk to people! This is a problem that needs adressing. Also, no one seems to mention that in the Beta Quest, if it is daylight, the game is much more "normal".

To make time flow normally in Hyrule field:

Enter Kakariko village, and go into the windmill room. You will be in a potion shop, and when exiting, you will be in the Market. Now walk past the Poe freak, and voila! Time is flowing in Hyrule field. This may lead to interesting things.....

May the way of the Hero lead to the Triforce...

- The MK Demon

That is exactly one of the things I was thinking. You've got a great point: How could we give Link a name? Well I suppose it's kind of like a JavaScript that calls for you to fill in something such as your name to give you a personalized message. Well I've been trying to hack this out, but I've still come up empty. We need somebody to find out how to make letters appear. I was thinking about taking the debug code and seeing what parts crashed and then taking those codes, entering them in with a GS and then finding some code that enables letters to be put in. THEN we can find out. But until then, we can just keep on dreaming.

Hey Dude!,

I love your site! I was gonna send this to TRIFORCEGUY but i don't know his email address! So can u please forward this to him, too. Well anyway I've been a quiet Gameshark hacker, and I created them codes to change the colors of your tunics! But some other ppl took the credit for it! (damnit!) Well here are some codes for different versions of Zelda so everyone can do the "BETA QUEST" code!

Beta Quest Code for Version GOLD 1.0-
8011B9E3 0020
Notice the last two digits are the same as in the 1.1 code so u can easily try all the other codes.

OK here is also the "Cut Scene Modifier Code" for GOLD 1.0-
D01C864B5-0020
8111B9E4-0F0F
D01C84B5-0020
8111B9E8-0F0F

OK i have also made a PAL version Zelda Beta code!!! so here is that too-
PAL Zelda Beta Quest Code-
801197E3 0020

OK there it is please pass it on to TRIFORCEGUY, and i'd also like FULL credit for these code conversions, make the credit out to "Kola".

You can email me or contact me on ICQ on 33081333

Cya!
"Kola"

Another great find--especially for you PAL (United Kingdom) owners as well as V1.0 owners! This also means you both can now See the Goddesses and the Triforce fade thing. Aren't you just so glad that there are people out there like Kola willing to take their time and figure this kinda stuff out? I sure am. Not only for me and my site, but for all of you faithful viewers as well! Keep on finding this stuff and keep on sending it in!

WOW.I have news on the beta code.It works.Only 1.1 version.I went to Kakariko, and went into the house across from the graveyard kid's house. The door opened like it should, and BLAM! Im in the...DEKU TREE! There is a cutscreen like he first walks in as a child.Only I am a full grown adult.I had plenty of fun.Navi talked.--"Zelda,since you have saved Hyrule from Ganondorf,I will tell you a great secret.Only 1 person can hear it.The Triforce rests in the..." and the game froze.AGGHHHGJGJGHJHHH!! F*** YOU FAIRY A**! YOU SUCK.Thats what I screamed for 10 minutes. Why? WHERE is the triforce! P.S. I have a Navi-hater club.Wanna join?

A skeptical guy who didn't believe you at first, and is not a big, fat,f***ing lier.

Hey guy? I hate to tell you this, but I can already prove your theory is false. Let me explain.

  1. Navi DOES NOT exist in the Beta Quest. If you are playing around with the game, she NEVER comes out. Even if you stand still and press A like you normally could, she doesn't come out! Ok... so maybe she does, but she can't use your name!
  2. Link does not have a name in the Beta Quest. Whenever somebody is going to talk to you and say your name, it tries to prompt the game for a name, but it doesn't have one so the game freezes!

Don't try this kinda stuff with me. I'm smarter than you are because I wouldn't have submited such a horribly thought out process. If you're gonna make up a rumor, please, please, please, for the sake of everybody, think through it before you do it.

Kage777 writes: Subject Line = I have found the triforce

Its true, I have found it, although it was'nt easy to obtain, because you have to use common sense to figure out how to get it. Ok now, I am not going to tell you how to obtain the triforce, but I will tell you to think back to the story that the deku tree had told you after you beat gohma. Now either start a new game to freshen your memory on it or just try to remeber it.

Now, all those rumors people saying you have to do this and that, and blow that thing up, they are all wrong. The triforce is anywhere that you choose to access it at. You just have to do the right thing to access it.

Well, thats all I will say on the triforce, lets see if you people can figure it out.

Now the guy before was bad, but this guy doesn't even have a process to go with it! I'm going to say the same thing to you as I did the other guy--if you're gonna make up a rumor, please, please, please, for the sake of everybody, think through it before you do it! And give a process at least!

Icy Articuno writes again:

I know, I`m conducting a gullibility test. Most people believe me.

Dude, give up! I can see you're trying to play off your stupid attempt at making a Triforce rumor, but jeez! Give up already. "And that's all I've got to say about that." --Forest Gump

Icy Articuno just won't give up!!:

As I said,it was a test. But then.wait a minute.I said Im not a big fat f***ing lier. The Deku Tree thing did happen.Navi DID come out.Dont do that, though. The cutscreen played, and I went to the web at the bottom, and she said,"Look,Link!" and she said whatever she says when your a kid looking at it.But it was cut off,and a messed up box appeared in the text box at the end. Then the game froze. No gameshark codes have worked since.I promise to God this is true.I dont care what you think.

I thought I told you to give up. "I'm conducting a test to see if people will believe what I say is true when I'm lying then I come back and say it really did happen." Stop sending me e-mails on this! I don't want to hear from you again Icy Articuno! You've been caught in a lie and you can't get out of it!

Kage777 writes again:

So, you want the procedure to get the tri-force, well, i guess you expecting a long list of things to do in order to obtain the triforce. well, your not going to get that at all, it is simple, the 3 goddesses that created hyrule, which were din, farore and nayru used their magic to create the triforce. Just before I tell you how to obtain the triforce, I will let you know, that I had all the skulltula's, and all the hearts and I have the gold cartridge, although I don't think this will make any difference.

What you do is equip each of the 3 goddesses magic to a C button, and then after that, use all 3 at the same time. you will see a scene with link about to cast a spell, then you will see it again, and the third time, a beam will shoot into the heavens of Hyrule and the triforce will lower to your grasps. that is how you do it, its as simple as that. Its using common sense, the goddesses created the triforce with their magic, and you obtain it with their magic.

Now this is exactly what I'm talking about! This guy followed the "KISS" method--keep it simple stupid. These are the kinds of rumors you can prove true/flase in like 5 seconds. Go ahead and try it for yourselves. I don't think it will work, but it was a great try to get us to believe the Triforce was obtainable through this.
