Saving the Good Colonel

This was the first photograph in a long time. To add to the fact, we haven't really played in quite some while. And with the site not updated in quite some while, I figured that I would use our battle for the campaign. So, here we go. The set up is AFTER the first mission, set with the Good Colonel Kylnimov on the brink of dying in the middle of the town outside of the base....

SET UP

The Dark Angels were still fresh off their victory, saving the base from destruction. They were well aware of the fact that Kylinmov had disappeard from the battle, and they fact that reports were given that the Good Colonel had indeed been shot dead.
The Ministorium had heard differnt. They had recieved direct word that Kylinmov was infact not dead. With this, they dispatched a readily available force of Sisters to use their speed to find the Good Colonel and get out of there so he could get medical treatment. And with that, the battle began.

TURN 1

The Dark Angels started out by moving their forces forwards, searching the rubble directly in front of them for Kylinmov. They turned over pile after pile of rocks and stones and rubble only to find nothing.
Of course, this wasn't helped by the fact that their support squad let out a blast from their rocket launcher which blew the top floor of the building near the search squad, sending dirt and plaster through the air.

As for the Sisters, they moved forwards with the spirit of the Emperor in them. They searched for the Coloel through out the town's center. They slowly rolled over small piles of rubble, looking for the Colonel.
But they too had the same luck as the Dark Angels did. No such luck. And after mulling about through the town, neither side had found what they were looking for. Somewhere out there, the Good Colonel Kylinmov lay wounded in the rubbles of the battle before.
