The Edge of the Storm |

The reports came in to Canoness Bello from the townsfolk that Chaos was in the area. But Bello didn't believe them. With this first sighting, the reports were confirmed. The sighting of the Berzerkers brought forth the beginning of the storm that was to settle over the war ravaged town of Oliver, located in the Carpetia Plains of Oliveria III... |

Word came quicker to Bello than usual. When word did come in, she was able to muster not only one, but two of her Seraphim squads, and the other troop squad in the area. Bello was praying to the Emperor to strike first, and fast. |

However, the Khorne Lord had decided to show up and help out his Berzerkers. He thundered onto the town from it's northern edge, bring with him the thirst for blood.
The berzerkers, in the mean time, fired off two shot with their plasma pistols, only to not even scratch the tank's hull.
Bello ordered the tank forwards killing not even a single Berzerkers with bolters, flames, and even a meltagun that failed to even hit someone. |

When the Berzerkers had regrouped from the firing, there was something going on. Their Lord was suddenly felt the thirst for blood race through his veins (you know what happened Steve...).
The Berzerker's Champion suddenly clutched his sides and fell to his knees, screaming as warp enegry pulsed through his body. Suddenly, the Champion was ripped apart by the flow of energy, and what happened next would leave Bello with the taste of dread in her mouth. |

The Champion suddenly changed. His body was no longer that of a Chaos marine. Now, it was the shape of the Great Khorne Daemon himself, Bloodthirster. The Berzerkers cheered in a vengeful delight, glad that their patron god had shown up... |
