MTM1 MONSTER CHALLENGE TOURNAMENT

TOURNAMENT RULES ....important viewing
CHECK IN - Will begin at 8:15 pm est and end at 8:50, no late comers will be allowed to participate so be there early.
When you enter the tourney room go to the room labelled "CHECK IN". The hosts will verify your entry and then you may go back to the main lobby.

HELPFUL HINTS - Make sure your graphics are set to their lowest possible settings
-Only pod the tracks you will be playing in the tournament (this doesnt apply to the stock tracks of course)
-When you are assigned to a room let the player with the highest latency host the game
-Hopefully these three steps will help the tournament run faster....less games being rerun due to no shows and poor connections.
TOURNAMENT FORMAT
Participants- Open to all....There will 3 racers per room and they will be randomly assigned by the tourney hosts
As this is random you may end up racing the same person more than once, this hopefully will save some time over trying to let participants go against different people in each race.
POINTS SYSTEM- 5 points will be awarded for a first place finish, 3 points for second, and 1 point for third, the point structure will remain throughout the rounds.
The tournament will consist of a qualifying round, a semi-final round and the final round
The top nine contestants from the qualifying round move on to the semi-finals. the top three contestants from the semi's move on to the finals.
Any points earned in a previous round will not carryover to the next round..
If contestants manage to tie for the ninth (qualifying) or third (semi-final) postions they will all move on to the next round. No time for tiebreakers here.

Sierra Logging Run...5 laps
Round and Round...4 laps
Yamaha Super Cross...5 laps
Mud Pies...6 Laps
SEMI-FINALS
Mudweiser Speedway...5 Laps
SEA's Speedway...5 laps
FINAL ROUND
The final round will consists of TWO races on the same track.
Gizmo's Gultch...5 laps
