I had a thought a few nights ago, and wondered what kind of units would adjust the Empire army. True, they have enough different troops as it is, their broad selection is what makes them so that they can fight almost any kind of enemy with the right tools. I can't argue with that, this is just a list of models that I'd like to try out.

Imperial Engineers: 10 Points

M-----BS-----WS-----S-----T-----W-----I-----A-----LD
4--------3--------3----3----3-------1-----3-----1-------7
Equipment:
Imperial Engineers may have a vast array of weapons. These include the Hochland Long Rifle (+5 Points) the Repeater Hand Gun (+3 Points) the Repeater Pistol (+3 Points) a Blundermuss (+4 Points) a Man Catcher (+3 Points) or a Ball & Chain (+4 Points). Each Weapon is described in the Empire Armies book (Pg. 21). However, the Long Rifle may not pick off any model that is blocked by screening troops.

Imperial Helblaster Volley Gun (Modification)
The Helblaster is basically the same gun, but with two modifications. First, when the weapon jams, it is not useless. Instead, it takes 1 turns to remove the barrel, remove the cause, and replace the barrel. It can then continue as normal. The second is that when all barrels are fired, it takes 3 turns to replace the cannonballs. It can then fire as normal.

Imperial Flame Exploder:
The Cannon shoots a small cannonball, and after a certain amount of time explodes. The cannon has a range of 30" and is mainly used as a defensive cannon. Roll as you would as a normal cannon, but with the scatter dice. If a 'HIT' is rolled, the ball lands right on target and explodes. If an arrow is rolled, the ball veers off D3" in the direction indicated from the final spot. Now roll the Artillery Dice. If a misfire is thrown, use the normal proceedure. Roll a D6. If a 1-2 is rolled, the cannon is destroyed. 3-4 = Does not shoot, may not fire next turn either. 5-6 = May fire next turn, not this turn. The cannonball goes in a straight line until it reaches 30". The cannonball then explodes, using the 2" template. Anyone in the straight line of the cannonball sufferes a S8 hit. Anyone within the template sufferes a S7 hit on a 4+. The cannonball inflicts not 1 but D3 wounds.

The Crown of Toughness -- 200 points
The Crown of Toughness was given to an Emporor by a dwarf king a very long time ago. No one really knows who it was given to, nor when given. It is inscribed with several very highly powerful runes. This Crown is only worn by an Empire general, and if done so, the general may not carry any other magic items. The crown's power is so strong that the entire army flows with courage. The crown gives the army a +1 toughness on their regular profiles and cannot break from combat
Empire General only

The Crown of Strength -- 200 points
The Crown of Toughness was given to the same Emporor. It is inscribed with several very highly powerful runes, like the Crown of Toughness. Only the General may wear it, and if done so, the general may not carry any other magic items. The crown's power is so strong that the entire army flows with strength. The crown gives the entire army a +1 strength on their regular profiles and cannot break from combat.
Empire General only
