Captain Planet looked around. This wasn't your typical eco-emergency, but this did require a superhero. Transforming his body into magnetic lodestone, Captain Planet drew all the alien soldier's blasters toward him, out of the hands of their wielders. Recycling the weapons into a cage, he then flew over, scooped up the alien invaders and tossed them into the cage. Then he hurled the cage at War World, saying, "Time to label this package 'Return to Sender'!"
Just then Hope Island flickered in and out of reality, taking the Planeteers with it! "PLANETEERS!" screamed Planet, as the island was returned to its home dimension without him. Too late to reach it, Planet hit the water.
"Looks like I'm gonna be here for a while," Planet muttered. "Well, might as well see if I can be of any further help."
Captain Planet saw Adam Warlock dueling with Thanos. As Captain Planet flew in from behind Thanos, having read his mind to sense what bad news he was, the mad Titan apparently sensed his presence. Captain Planet was on the receiving end of a blast as Thanos said something about meddling insects.
Ouch! thought Planet as the blow stunned him. People definitely have more important matters than environmental destruction on their minds. Looks like I'm gonna have to stop specializing in eco-emergencies.
