Maple Fudge | ![]() |
1 cup maple syrup
3 cups brown sugar
1 cup granulated sugar
2 tsp baking powder
1 cup half & half
1 tbsp butter
2 tbsp vanilla
Boil syrup, both sugars, and baking soda over med heat. Cook until a candy thermometer reads 240°. Cool at least 20 minutes. Add butter and half & half, beating well. Pour into a well buttered baking dish. Cool and cut into squares.
*Hint: Stir a lot for very sugary fudge.
