Peoples of Middle-Earth in the Third Age of the Sun

Dorwinrim

The Dorwinrim are the inhabitants of Dorwinion, the land to the west of the Sea of Rhûn. They are an Northman people, though with some admixture of Easterling blood. Noted for their proficiency with trade, they have had good relations with Laketown and Gondor, and when Dale was rebuilt, and Erebor restored, their trade only grew stronger. The wines produced in Dorwinion are of a most excellent type, with a number of 'special' grapes being harvested for the press.

Dorwinrim are shorter on average than typical Northmen, and tend towards a ruddy complexion, with hair from dark blonde to black.

Attributes:

Logathig
A Northman tongue heavily affect by both by Westron and by the various Easterling speeches of th peoples of the wide region of Rhûn. Commerce has brought the Dorwinrim into contact with many diverse peoples from bthe east and west, all of whom have influenced Logathig's change into something very different from the ancient speech of Rhovanion.
