Kintaro

Name: Kintaro
Origin: Outworld
Race: Shokan
Playable Debut: Mortal Kombat Trilogy (with code)
Unplayable Debut: Mortal Kombat II
Story: Nine generations ago, Prince Goro of the Shokan gained the title of Mortal Kombat Champion for the side of villainy. He remained champion until 1993, when he was defeated by Liu Kang.
Another of the Shokan named Kintaro was infuriated at the fact that Goro had lost to the human. He volunteered to lead Kahn's armies in a strike against the Inworld forces when they arrived. The Shokan was well trained, and was prepared to decimate the Outworld forces. But he too was not strong enough to defeat them.

The next year, when the portal was opened, Kahn decided that the Shokan race had become expendable. He then promoted Motaro, a Centurian, to the rank of General. Motaro gained command of the extermination squads. The Centurian and Shokan, you see, are instinctual enemies.
Kintaro used what remaining power he had to give his lover, Sheeva, the rank of bodyguard to Queen Sindel. Then Motaro began to slaughter the Shokan forces. Kintaro immediately sent word to Sheeva. She abandoned Sindel and left for the Outworld to find Kintaro battling with Motaro. He was defeated, and died in her arms.
