Heroes of Might and Magic III is a great game with SUPERB graphics, and a pretty good map editor and interface.
Their are eight different "races", which make the game last longer, and make each individual game totally unique.
another neat thing is the free multiplayer on Mplayer, you can talk to each other in the chat rooms!!!
One problem: be sure to down load patch 1.1, after you get it, the game play is good, but before it, the amount of bugs is astronamical.

Notes: There's something missing in the gameplay....it....gets boring.....sooner than a game with eight different races should....hmmmmm.
