| Scorch was born about a thousand and two years prior to what is referred to as 'present day'. He was born of a fire elemental and a shapeshifter. Since day one, he has searched for an identity. He has yet to find it. Due to his strange breed, Scorch is both a fire elemental and shapeshifter. How this is possible is beyond even his comprehension but it works like this: Scorch's form can change into whatever his being desires, his being is that of pure flame. He is empowered by flame and will continue to live unless every bit of fire throughout anywhere ceases to exist. Now to actual history. Scorch's first major thing was when he started training as a mage at age six. At this time he was in the form of a small bipedal feline. for six centuries, he learned, growing slightly larger so as not to draw suspicion. Eventually a new head mage realized the true nature of Scorch and had him sent away. Scorch's physical body changed to that of a canine, as it has remained almost permanently since. Shortly after his excommunication, he turned to a life of crime. Stealing for money, stealing for possesions, stealing for fun. He also became an avid gambler, heavy drinker, and quite the womanizer. However, this all led to one thing: Incarceration. Scorch was sentenced to three years prison for the charges brought up against him. Assault, breaking and entering, theft, he was found guilty of all of them. During his time in prison, Scorch learned many things about why he had ever been caught. He learned more stealthy tactics to use. And sure enough, when he got out it was back to the same old things. Suddenly, Scorch found himself doing riskier thefts. Jewels, castle vaults, entire towns were robbed of their posessions. Then eventually he went to far. Scorch was in a church, stealing the gold from the collection box, when a priest walked in and surprised him. Scorch didn't know what to do, so using his magic training he incinerated the priest and layed him upon the altar. Scorch, being not entirely guilt free, became a minister. Not one of those celibate "God Rules" holy people, but someone who firmly believed in and supported a higher being. Scorch is still a minister and performs occasional weddings. A while after his turning point, Scorch met a young cub by the name of Skylar Night (NightSky). Skylar had been living on the streets after his mother, a slave owner, killed his father and the rest of his family, and then killed herself. Seeing as he had no children, Scorch raised the young feline himself. NightSky however recently took a knock to the head and remembers little of his childhood. Scorch eventually did marry a young feline, by the name of Lady Hellfire. She was around the age of 20, very young comparable to his 980. They had no children, however they adopted one. A daughter named Penila. Penila was an energetic young feline and so for a while, Scorch took on the form of a feline once more so as not to make others believe the child was not his. One day, while Scorch was away at his job at the Academy of Melend, thieves broke into his home, robbed it of all valuables, then murdered his wife. His daughter died not long thereafter due to their poisoning her. He went into a blinding rage and his form changed once again, this time into a draconic male nearly twelve feet tall, twenty from head to tail tip. He went on a killing spree and took the lives of eighty seven men. Then he broke down and literally vanished. Scorch has just recently returned to the public life he so once enjoyed. He has taken the form of a bipedal canine. His fur is grey, with burn marks widespread upon it. The body he has made for himself is well toned, around twenty years old, and he rarely hides this fact. He also has wings, which he normally does not show. Scorch is now taken by the very lovely KylaVenus, whom he loves dearly.
