Amazing site - keep up the good work!
Like you, Wonderboy 1 from the arcade is probably my most
favourite game of all time.
Have you completed it on its hardest mode aswell as the
final secret 8th level, by the way?
By the way, if you can, try and get an mp3 of the arcade while
actually playing. I'd love to hear the sound effects and
music properly.
Just before I go, here are my favourite arcade games other
than Wonderboy :)
Pacland: I reckon you might have played this one way or another.
Nice cartoon-esque graphics, and quite unusual gameplay.
Outrun: A classic arcade (thankfully, I have this game on saturn!)
It's even better than the arcade (because it's at 50FPS)
S.T.U.N. A graphically awesome tunnel game that I saw ages ago.
Runner: I'd love to see this game again. Have you heard of it?
My other fave arcades include:
R-Type, Point Blank 1+2, Outrun/Turbo outrun, Super wonderboy,
Bubble Bobble, Rainbow Islands, Smash TV, Strider, Bank Panic,
Bombjack, Altered beast, Ghouls and Ghosts, Liquid Kids,
Pang/Tumblepop, Paperboy and the NewZealand story.
What are your opinion of these games? Which of them haven't you
played?

I am an asian prgramer and am thinking of making a monster world game it is easy to program it but hard to create it.
why don't you put a message board just put and leave it (you can find free forums everywhere).
Have you heard the latest news a %100 english patch for moster world IV released, and a version
1.1 released too check zophar domain , it is a real great game *_-

I surely was amused by the music of the wonderboy games playing along.
Well, I'm playing Wonderboy in monsterworld these days (I recently discovered emulation), but one day I'll finish it and will want to play monsterworld 4... only problem is, that your link to the english translation doesn't work, though I really would lik
that translation, 'cause the game looks great, but my Japanese just about sucks big time, so I don't understand a word (character)
