| These are the main characters in "Legends of Iconoclast Part 1:The Cabal War". Their ages are determined at the time they make their first appearance. Characters who also make an appearance in part 2 will be twenty years older. The following characters make their first appearance in Part 1. Caleb Age:25 Born in texas in 1847, Caleb became a notorious gunfighter by the time he was 17. Seven years later, he met Ophielia Price, who had lost her husband and son to the cult of Tchernobog. She was his key to the cult of Tchernobog. For one year, Caleb served Tchernobog faithfully. When Tchernobog kidnapped Ophielia and spirited Caleb away for reasons unknown, Caleb vowed revenge and returned to the Hall of the Epiphany and challenged Tchernobog. After a short battle, Tchernobog was defeated. But because he was still under Tchernobog's bondage, Caleb could not destroy Tchernobog. Unlike the other Chosen generals of Tchernobog's army, Caleb's life was spared by Tchernobog. Tchernobog had a purpose to test Caleb to see if he could bring the essence of the other Chosen to increase his power and inherit the Earth. But Ishmael was nowhere to be found. Since Tchernobog did not absorb the essence of all three of Caleb's friends, he was easily defeated by Caleb. After returning to Earth, Caleb, filled with guilt towards his actions as a cultist decided to use what he knew to make a positive effect on society, hoping to rid himelf of his guilt and regain his honour. But he is forced back into battle against the cabal three days later and finds a way into their home world. As the main character of the game, Caleb is the character you play as in part 1 and 2. Lazurus Age:Unknown Lazurus was the soothsayer of Iconoclast I. He was a kind man who served his king faithfully. His son Erdrick was to marry Eliza, the king's daughter. On the night Raven Dark's demonic spirit awakened from a long sleep, Lazurus was beckoned to the sword, pulled it from the stone, and thrust it through his heart, transforming him into a dragon which proceeded to attack the castle and kidnap Eliza. Erdrick was sent by the king to slay the dragon, which had taken her to Mt. Iconoclast. Using his sword, Erdrick slew the dragon, not knowing he had slain his own father. After Lazurus's death, the people built a monolithic castle atop Mt. Iconoclast in his honor. Little did they know was that it would become the palace of evil. Cecil Age:36 Cecil was a great hero during his life, his greatest act, saving the life of his lover Penelope, betraying his king in the process. Years after their marriage, their daughter Minerva was born. Little did they know was that their daughter was to become the next queen of the realm. Cecil and Penelope were killed four years later by Archbishop Tchernobog. Before dying, Cecil begged the son of King Iconoclast VIII, Iconoclast IX to raise his daughter. Iconoclast IX Age:41 King Iconoclast IX was the greatest king to ever rule the realm. Under his rule, the realm became prosperous and peaceful. But King Iconoclast IX had a dark past. He spent his first 17 years in the village of Dunkilus in the kingdom of Dunkilus. His father, the king, had ordered him to be thrown into the river when Archbishop Tchernobog warned him that he would be killed by his son. After the queen sent her son to safety, the king had her executed for high treason. Because the young prince was the son of a black king, the people of Dunkilus were afraid of him, except for Elizabeth, his lover. When she was thrown into prison for falling in love with him, he rescued her after slaying a mighty dragon which had ravaged the village. After their marriage, Iconoclast and Elizabeth returned to the village of Iconoclast where they raised an army of its people and overpowered the castle. The prince then slew his father, fulfilling Tchernobog's prophecy. Elizabeth died three years later during a great plague without providing her husband with any heir to the throne. Iconoclast IX met his demise at the hands of Tchernobog thirteen years after adopting Minerva. He is buried in the Royal Crypt of Lazurus's castle. Minerva Age:17 Minerva is the princess of Iconoclast, the adopted daughter of Iconoclast IX, daughter of Cecil, and Edward's fiance. She does not know what happened to her real parents since she was a small girl back then. Now grown into most beautiful girl in the realm, Minerva is destined to become the next queen of the realm. Edward Age:18 Edward was born on the night of a great plague that killed many people, including his parents and queen Elizabeth. Sent to live with his grandparents on their farm, Edward was recruited into the bards class by his grandfather. After one year, Edward was proclaimed the prince of Minstrels and awarded the sword of Fire. Several days later, at Minerva's 16th birthday, Edward journeyed to the castle to pay homage to her. Since he had no gift to bring, he offered a song from his harp. One year later when they were to marry, they too suffered the curse of Archbishop Tchernobog when Edward was transformed into a tree and Minerva into a crystal statue. Murlock Age:Unknown Murlock is the most powerful sorcerer to use white magic. Not much is known about Murlock. He is also Raven Dark's younger brother. He now awaits the chosen warrior of the light to break the curse upon the world. Archbishop Tchernobog Age:1100 Despite his age, Archbishop Tchernobog has retained his youth. Possessed by Raven Dark's essence since the day of his birth, he was the soothsayer who predicted that Iconoclast IX would kill his father. Banished from the castle by Iconoclast IX when he tried to force Minerva into marrying him, Tchernobog later sold his soul to his master who then altered his body to match the form of Raven Dark's demonic spirit which was captured in the sword of Darkness in 201 ad. After his curse upon the people of the realm, Tchernobog now plans to place another curse of eternal darkness upon Earth. Part 2 Characters Kain Age:42 Kain was the first king of Dunkilus and the husband of Gwendolyn. He is also the father of Prince Dunkilus and Princess Penelope. He is a wise and just ruler of his kingdom, and like his people, was unprepared for the Cabal attack which destroyed many parts of the village. Gwendolyn Age:40 Gwendolyn is the wife of Kain, the mother of Prince Dunkilus and Princess Penelope, and the queen of Dunkilus. She was unprepared for the assault on her kingdom by Raven Dark's army and was powerless to stop her son and daughter from being kidnapped. The Four Heirs Age:19 Prince Iconoclast, his sister Princess Iconoclast, and their lovers, Prince Dunkilus, and Princess Penelope are the futue rulers of Iconoclast and Dunkilus when the two kingdoms merge into one. Plans have been made for the new rulers to rule from their castle in the kingdom they represent along with their new spouse after the marriage. Prince Iconoclast would rule as Iconoclast X with Penelope as Penelope I. Prince Dunkilus would rule Dunkilus as Dunkilus I with his beloved Elizabeth as Elizabeth II. They are now being held hostage in the Chaos Sanctuary. Ishmael Age:52 Thought to have been killed by Cerberus twenty years earlier, Ishmael now seeks revenge on Caleb whom he blames for the death of the other chosen. He has lost all memory of the family he left behind on Earth. When Ishmael's wife begs Caleb to find Ishmael and bring him home, Caleb vows to accomplish this goal. But he must first extract the essence of Raven Dark from his friend's body which will allow him to return to his senses. Leoric Age:36 Leoric is captain of Edward's knights and the leader of the Iconoclast army. Even with his great leadership skills, his army was no match for the Cabal, until they were forced to retreat. Thanks to Caleb's skills and experience against the Cabal, Leoric trusts Caleb as a powerful ally, but he is not so sure he could trust Ishmael if Caleb can bring his friend to his senses since it was Ishmael who led the attack on Dunkilus and Iconoclast.. The Mystic Gods Age:Unknown The five gods who created all life in the realm of Iconoclast will offer their wisdom to Caleb to aid his quest to vanquish Raven Dark. The five gods, Vulcan, Shiva, Indra, Agni, and Hades also created the five mystic swords and blessed them with the power of the elements of fire, ice, storm, earth, and darkness. Agnus Age:20 Agnus is the beautiful daughter of a middle class family. She lives with her widowed father although she ran away from home when her father tried to arrange a marriage between her and a man she despised. According to Iconoclast law and tradition, Agnus must marry the man her father chooses, or she must be put to death.She is being held hostage in the Chaos Sanctuary although she is later rescued by Caleb. She seems to show real feelings for Caleb and is secretly in love with him, although he doesn't know it...yet. Raven Dark Age:Unknown It's hard to believe that Raven Dark is Murlock's older brother. How he came to this world along with Murlock is unknown. Although Raven Dark is a powerful sorceror of the dark powers, he has still not reached the full strength of his powers. Raven Dark was the first king of Iconoclast, but after only a few months of tyrannical rule, he was put to death by the people. His demonic spirit was captured in the sword of Darkness and laid to rest. He had sold his powers and immortality for the right to the throne. Now that Raven Dark has been released from his prison inside the sword of Darkness, he schemes to reclaim his throne in the castle of Iconoclast. To reach the full height of his power and reclaim his powers which he sold for the throne, Raven Dark possesses the souls of those who take his essence into themselves. Although Raven Dark is a human just like his brother, his demonic spirit is in the form of an unholy hideous demon. Lazurus was the first to suffer. Next was Eliza who died giving birth to Tchernobog who then recieved the essence until it was destroyed by Caleb 20 years ago. The powers inside the sword of Darkness were sealed and laid to rest in the sea outside the walls of the castle of Iconoclast. Now Raven Dark has been released and now possesses the body of Ishmael. Who will he possess next? Only time will tell. Part 3 Characters Vincent Valiant Orbison Age:18 Vincet Valiant Orbison is a young man from the village of Calebcolast, built by his ancestor Caleb. Vincent lives with his grandparents, orphaned ever since the day of his birth. He works in the stables of the small village and lives with his grandparents on their farm. One evening, Vincent's place of employment and his home are burnt down, his employer and his grandparents are killed, and Vincent finds himself alone and without a home. However, he learns from the spirit of Caleb that he is the last of Caleb's descendants and must fight the forces of evil regathering in Iconoclast. Little does Vincent know is that someone in the forces of evil is plotting on his life. Vincent must fight to survive and prove himself worthy of his destiny. Born with the power to destroy any evil being, Vincent is a force to be reckoned with against the forces of evil. Knowing that Vincent is the last of Caleb's descendants, the forces of evil will stop at nothing to kill Vincent and eliminate the threat to their rulership over the universe's dimensions. Vincent is the main character in The Trials of Destiny. Estella Age:18 Estella is the daughter of the king and the princess of the realm. Her mother died when she was young and she is currently being raised by her father is is trying to persuade her to marry. Born with the power to heal, Estella yearns to be free of her royal duties and see life outside the palace gates. Iconoclast XXV Age:42 The king of the realm is well known, and well liked by his people. However, the king doesn't trust outsiders, believing any outsider to by an enemy sent to overthrow him. He is currently trying to persuade his daughter to marry, not knowing that she has feelings for Vincent. Valirus Age:24 Valirus is captain of the king's knights. He knows that strange things have been happening in the dimension and yearns to fight the evil that is plaguing the land. When he learns of Vincent's purpose, he becomes a strong ally of Caleb's descendant. Alucada Age:21 Alucada is one of the daughter's of the king of Naphorphia who was forced to give up all rights to the throne when she did not marry before her twentieth birthday. She decided to live her life using her powers to see the future. Edgar VII Age:39 Edgar is the king of Naphorphia and the leader of his people. He is also the father of Alucada, the soothesayer witch. He is pleased to meet Vincent and finds relief in the fact that a young warrior is rising to challenge the forces of evil. Anya Age:20 Anya is the young queen of the bard's kingdom of Tamirtania. She has been having terrible nightmares about the ruler of all evil awakening, however, her spirit is strong and she does not fall easily to terror and insanity. Magistrate Age:24 Magistrate is the leader of the kingdom of Arcanius, the kingdom of magic. Magistrate uses powerful magic to govern the surrounding lands of the kingdom and uses his powers for the good of his people. He was the son of the last king of Arcanius who was forced to give up all rights to the throne. Arcanius is currently not ruled by a king since the death of the king. Chaos Age:Unknown Chaos is the new ruler of the gargoyles since Cheogh's destruction 1000 years ago by Vincent's ancestor. As Cheogh's descendant, Chaos will stop at nothing to achieve his vengeance. Valkereye Age:Unknown Valkereye is the leader of the forces of Darkness and the leader of all evil. Valkereye is also known as the Dark Master because his powers of darkness are the most powerful in existence. Valkereye lives in the last dimension of the universe, a place where the sun never shines and where there is no light. As the Dark Master, Valkereye has the power to create new dimensions, or destroy them. It was Valkereye himself who created Iconoclast and ruled it to expand his legions of Darkness. The mystic gods however sealed up his essence and imprisoned him within their mystic shrine before they set to work to create a whole new dimension. Raven Dark and Murlock, Valkereye's two immortal sons descended upon the dimension and went their separate ways. Murlock recruited himself to the forces of light whle Raven Dark stayed loyal to the darkness. Murlock disavows all knowledge of his evil father's existence while Raven Dark seeks to unseal Valkereye. Unlike his two immortal sons whom he created with his dark power, Valkereye is not human. No mortal has ever seen Valkereye in real life, only in their dreams. Vincent may not know it, but he is destined to be the first to actually lay eyes upon Valkereye. Because his appearance is enough to corrupt one's mind and condemn him or her to terror and insanity, all agree that Valkereye has the appearance of a creature from our worst nightmare. |
