I was born in Taipei, Taiwan on April 17, 1981.  I moved to the United States when I was 9 years old to Dracut, Massachusetts.  My family spent a year there before we moved to San Jose, California.  There I attended John Muir Elementary School, Faria Elementary School, Miller Junior High, and Lynbrook High School.  I spent my senior year of high school taking classes at De Anza College, and I entered Berkeley in Fall 1999.

I like to play tennis and basketball.  My favorite athlete of all time is Michael Jordan.
