House of Distraction Autoduel Association
Needs a name.
Start with 100k in funds for cars and character equipment. Right now these
corporations are considered to be extensions of a larger Corp so going bankrupt
half way through the year takes them out for the remainder of the fiscal year.
(I think)
Corporations have their own garage so no hourly fee's for repair times. (Due
to the lower starting funds) Corps can own any number of vehicles.
Corporations will attract additional sponsors based off of their team's prestige
average value.
Corporations do not get the prestige discount of their higher-ranking members
though the member gets it for everything he/she buys on their own.
If a Corp character uses his own paid for vehicle he keeps all the prize money
for that event. As long as he has fought in 5 or more Corp events that year
he gets the use of the Corp garage for free, though the mechanic is not free.
Purse value = Event rating times the number of corp cars involved
(Division 30 x 10 cars = $300,000)
1st prize = 50% of purse 2nd prize = 30% of purse 3rd prize = 20% of purse
Participants get $1500 each + an additional $1500 per skill over 0 (2's get
$4500) in the highest skill used.
Full salvage value for all kills goes to the corporation but the team member(s)
get 20% of it as a bonus. Salvage is half of (car cost - car repair) Killed
cars are still the property of the corporation that entered it though.
Max. +2 in any trait (30 points)
300 pts for characters
Adding guys to the team.
If you buy an extra team member it costs $3500 per skill level. So the standard 30 point character costs just over $10k. Now buying a guy will tap your profit, but as time goes on people will want to join your team based on the two types of prestige you are getting. These people though you can sell off or as they say in the business, "Trade". The factors in that are a little different, you guy is worth $3500 for every skill level, but only the highest. So a Driver 2, Gunner 1 and Cyclist 0 is worth 3x$3500 for his Driver 2 only. Though you do get a 10% bonus for additional skills over 0. So in the previous example the Driver 2 is worth $10,500 + 10% for the Gunner 1 and nothing for the Cyclist 0. ("So, you can drive a bike, are you any good at it? Drive "Ace" that IS what we are paying you to do.")
Corp. Prestige: The value of the corps prestige is the percent chance that a new member will want to join up with your team every month. This new member is more or less forced upon your team, though you do have the chance to rebuke this member. If you do the corp my fire your team leader, percentage chance of corp prestige minus team leaders prestige + 5%, there is always a chance.
Team Prestige: This will also attract people based on their own mien prestige. These members can be turned away with out penalty.

Corporations gain a different type of prestige than the drives and gunners they have working for them. For winning a corp gets 5, second place gets 3 and third place gets 2 points, any other team gets 1 even if they get blasted out as their first move.
At the end of the season the over all corporation prestige (CP)
will be weighted as follows: The total CP divided by the number of arena events
fought plus the number of events won. (So, a Corp. that gets 50 pts in 12
fights has an average of 4.16, and if 5 of those 12 fights they were first
their total is 9.16 for the year. In the case of a tie the number of victories
will determine the winner.)
Click the above banner to see the schedule as of right now, this should cover the first season. This will further be modified and increased as the months and years go on. Cycle events have been the least popular so far so I have tired to limit the Cycle only events to just 3 a month and 2 in a few cases, though the new multi-event category will allow any type of vehicle to be played as long as you have a minimum of two vehicles.
I have just considered that the dueling season right now is March through October. Events closer to the end of the year will get more and more expensive as the Corporations right now really can't loose. (Only 3, though more are welcome)
Divisions Note! Character equipment doesn't count against vehicle total in single events under Division 25, but at 25 and up Character cost(s) count against the car cost.
