Althuogh the best of friends, I don't think we've taken a group picture since junior high, John Burroughs. Well, I met these fellas in 7th grade, 1989. Since that year, we've gotten closer. We were very lucky that through the Magnet Program, we managed to transfer to the same high school, Van Nuys High. Currently, Chris is across the country from me in Mass. and Quynh, as far as I'm concerned, is dead. You see, he's in the U.S. Navy and is stationed somewhere in this country. We don't keep in touch. Chris and I are able to call each other and e-mail each other and sometimes even chat. But no matter where they are or the situation, we still homies. We still a trio.
A very important person in my life. Not only is she created for my
amusement, to be the butt of my jokes, my sidekick, my sideshow and my
scapegoat, she helps me out a lot. It's cool having her as a sister.
She knows I love her.
Helen and I are very good friends. She's very intertwined into the
trio's lives. Although she also went to my junior high, we started
to become friends in 10th grade '92. She's known Chris longer than
any of us and she's been Quynh's girlfriend since Feb 95. Currently,
she's attending Carnegy Melon University, Pittsburgh, but she and I also
don't keep in touch. She's probably too busy trying to keep in touch
with Quynh, who none of us are able to see enough of. Despite that,
she comes second to my homies.
