History After being abandoned by his father at age 14, he lived on the streets, where he learned to fight. He eventually was arrested for manslaughter when he kicked a man in the face, killing him. After his
released on parol at age 17 he was adopted by an owner of a kick boxing school where he enhanced his natural skills. He went to college soon after and took up amateur wrestling and boxing. After he graduated, he entered several boxing competitions, ad eventually winning the Southern California Super Heavyweight Golden Gloves champion, and still holds the title to this day.
