Take a White handled testors brush and fill it with paint. It should look like you have a drop of paint on the brush that is about to drop off. Now take out a piece of Wax paper and place this drop of paint on the wax paper. Now dip your brush in your water dish, or whatever you use to hold your water do the same with the water as you did the paint. Get a drop of water on the brush and mix it with the paint on the wax paper. You want three drops of water to every drop of paint. The consistency of your wash should look like milk in the color you're using. Any question Write me and I'll see if I can help you make a good wash. Please note that good washes come with time and experience. As a note if you're using inks for your washes usually a one to one ratio works well, but this is subject to practice.
