Rite of the Dance Reversed
By Bruce MacKay for the White
Howlers tribe.
Level Five White Howler Rite
Description
This powerful rite can only be used on Black Spiral Dancers. The
rite totally transforms the Black Spiral Dancer into either a White
Howler or whichever Tribe he was before he became a Black Spiral
Dancer. This rite removes all Wyrm taint, Wyrm gifts, Wyrm knowledge
and derangements from the Dancer. The reformed Dancer has at best an
extremely vague memory of what he was before the rite, however he gets
to keep any breed or auspice gifts that he had before the rite. This
rite also has a strange effect on Metis Dancers. After this rite any
deformity they had is gone and they are also found to be fertile. They
are still considered Metis to any Spirit or Garou, but to humans or
wolves they pass as normal.
The Ritemaster and Black Spiral Dancer roll a contested roll of the
Ritemaster's Gnosis against the Black Spiral's Willpower (difficulty 6).
If the Ritemaster has an equal amount or more successes than the Black
Spiral, the transformation occurs. If the Black Spiral has more
successes then the rite fails, and the ritemaster takes the difference
in success in unsoakable aggravated damage. Only one attempt can ever be
made on one Black Spiral, however if the rite fails, life expectancy
for the Spiral Dancer is unpleasantly short.
