Gav's Rock Odyssey (2/9/04):

At the rock star's request, we went to check out his gig @ Stereo on the west end (near Partick, I believe), a pub not unlike Rubbles in Mt. Pleasant, MI.  Gav opened for about four groups playing that night.  Overall, I was well-impressed with his musical talents and it was a good experience indeed.  On a related note, Gavin still has his website up and running, though HORRIBLY outdated.  It's at www.gavinurie.co.uk. As Gav says, "It's totally irrelevant!" but feel free to check it out!

Cruisin' along the M8 en route to Stereo. The Ginger one...I swear I'm going to dropkick him before I leave!!
Rob, the unofficial King of Scotland. Gav playing to a pretty full house.
Attracted to the light much like the mighty North American brown moth. Gav rockin' out.
Poetic beauty...poetic beauty. Close-up of Gav.  This is the first time I used "sepia" color mode on my camera and I'm well-impressed with the results.  Looks like a promo picture!
I don't know what I was doing here.  I believe I was requested to strike a pose as I was enjoying Kroenenburg, so it was purely impromptu. Another good shot toward the end of a good gig.
