ABOUT ME
Well, this is the stuff about me. My name is Jonathan Andrew Dunseith. I'm 19 years old and I live in Burford, Ontario, Canada. Up until last year, I went to Burford Distrist High School. I am currently single, which pretty much bites, but I'm used to it. OOOH! I have hobbies =) I really enjoy Magic: the Gathering. It's a collectible card game, and I've been pretty much addicted to it for 5 years now. I havent got to play for awhile, because Chris Lovett, the person I used to play with, quit. We used to go to Big B Comics in Hamilton when we wanted to play in tournaments. Hmmm... other hobbies... I love to listen to music. In fact, I think I'd die without music. One good thing about me is that my musical tastes are very eclectic. I like alternative, rock, techno, metal, ska, swing, and a little bit of rap and dance. But not country. I hate country. Some random bands from my CD list are KoRn, Methods of Mayhem, Kid Rock, Kittie, Godsmack, Aerosmith, Crash Test Dummies, Barenaked Ladies, Moxy Fruvous, Great Big Sea, Blues Traveler, Nine Inch Nails, Tool, "Weird Al" Yankovic, Live, Dave Matthews Band, Bloodhound Gang, Aqua, Offspring, Coal Chamber, and many others. I'll pretty much listen to anything that's playing. Again, except country =) When I'm not playing Magic or listening to music, I'm sometimes watching TV. I used to watch a lot of TV, but now I spend a lot of time on the net. Some shows I try not to miss are The Simspons, X-Files, WWF Raw is War and Smackdown!, and Drew Carey. I'm also a Trekkie and try to see Voyager, but I have no idea when it's on anymore, so i usually miss it =( Monty Python's Flying Circus is always good too when I catch the reruns. It's probably the best show in the history of TV. If you want to see a pic of me, look here. I also read. I'm a big fan of fantasy, with Piers Anthony, Terry Brooks and Charles deLint being my favourite authors in this genre. I also like stuff about vampires, and though I haven't read much by Anne Rice, I do like what I have read. A good vampire series are the Anita Blake books by Laurell K. Hamilton. Nothing like reading about a little 5'3" Mexican chick kickin' ass and killing vampires and werewolves and stuff. Of course, she's also sleeping with a vampire and dating a werewolf on the side. Good books =) I also like to read Stephen King, Michael Crichton, and the novels based on M:tG. One thing I must recommend is "The Raven" by Edgar Allen Poe. It's probably the best thing I've ever read, but I don't think it's worthwhile unless it's read out loud. My newest hobby is DVDs. I got a DVD-ROM drive for my computer for my birthday, and since I rarely play Magic anymore, most of my money goes towards DVDs and CDs. Mostly DVDs. My favourite by far is Fight Club, but Nightmare Before Christmas comes in at a close second. The rest of my time is spent on the Internet. When I'm online I usually surf sites about Magic... rules stuff, news, deckbuilding. While I'm doing that, I'm chatting on ICQ (#31238131) and listening to music, either from the radio, CDs, or downloaded MP3s. Some names I'm know as: Rhetoric (or the variations RHEtoric and 瓾硢ぎ、)(ICQ, Chathouse [Flip Side: The Rave]), Death Otter (GAB), DethOtter (IRC, MOTL), Da Rav'n (eBay). When I'm on IRC, I usually hang out in #mtgwacky and #wrestling. Oh, I have siblings too. My sister, Jessica, is 16, and my brother, Matthew, is 12. He has cerebral palsy, which means he's developmentally delayed, and can't walk or talk or stuff, but he can move around in his wheelchair, and he's really cute =) If you ever need cheering up, he's the one to go to for a hug.
