Roman Backwood
This is a version of Blackwood which gives much more information.
Roman Blackwood is a convention to find out not just how many Aces partner holds but which Aces as well. This is asked by bidding 4NT
Responses:-
5C no Aces or 3 Aces
5D 1 Ace or 4
5H 2 Aces of same colour
5S 2 Aces of same rank
5NT 2 Aces unlike in rank or colour

It can happen that when going for slam using either Gerber or Blackwood the opposition may bid in order to make it difficult for you to communicate accurately.
"Dopey" is a convention to cater for such a contingency.
Double = No Ace
Pass = 1 Ace
One step = 2 Aces
Two steps = 3 Aces
