A Week's Gone By

I'm sorry I haven't been updating this. I've actually been really really busy
lately with school and Toulousian related things.
On Friday I took a stroll around the downtown area and along a river there and
took some really cool pictures that I'll hopefully have uploaded soon. Besides
that I have not really been doing anything of consequence. Everyday in my ME 379 class I have to give a fifteen minute presentation on whatever homework we had due that day. We're in groups of three so it's a lot of work to get done every night.
I also have French homework I've been doing although that doesn't take nearly as
long. I'm having a pretty good time understanding anything that's written in the class but I still have major difficulties in hearing the language. I'm working on it.
Yesterday I went with Zach to this mall/walmart in the suburbs of Toulouse. It wasn't actually a wal-mart of course but it looked like a huge walmart. Actually....better described as an HEB and wal-mart combined which is in a mall. It's hard to describe but it's really cool. I didn't buy anything there because I had just heard it was cool and wanted to see it. My friend Zach seemed embarassed that I was taking pictures but it was awesome. I was going to buy an I-Pod but somebody told me that I should prehaps put off that decision given unforseen events.
I'm really worried about this weekend. I need to get a hold of Chris so I can know when he's going to Amsterdam and where he's staying. We made plans right before we left but I haven't been able to get a hold of him since. He just got into Europe on Monday so maybe he's a little jet-lagged but I'm still nervous that I will be alone, which won't be too bad but being in a foreign city with someone you know is about 20 times as fun.
Tonight we've having some sort of send-off party for the spring semester students who are just about to end their semesters. I'll keep you posted on this weekends plans and will try to get those pictures uploaded as soon as I can (I'm at INSA right now without any of the pictures).
