For this method you must be guilded or in Felucca
Tame 2 animals(works best if they are equal in strength)
get these 2 animals onto a boat
tell them to attack each other
begin healing them constantly while moving
when you gain animal lore stop the boat and continue healing ONLY THE BEAR YOU GAINED ON. The other can be healed with magic just not band aids or it will mess you up
continue this to GM
I have found if you want to save regs by not having to heal the animal tame one dominate creature and one weaker creature(ex. pig and timberwolf)so that the "timberwolf" will not take damage and leave you with a highly damaged "pig" to constantly heal and unless you plan to spend your time figuring out the balance of animals/your healing abilitys I suggest going with 2 equal creatures to start out with
