Place of Origin: The planet Toku
Common KnowledgeThe virtuous people. The Toku-jin are a very selective and secretive race. Often considered the "Sister" race to the Doku-jin, who often act as their bodyguards/servents etc... Often times, the Toku-jin will send an ambassador to planet to pick up members of the species living on the planet. The person/thing must leave voluntarily. Toku-jin children are named after virtues, as stated in the race name as well. Names are given at the age of 10, after observing the child and determining the proper name. The Toku-jin are extremely big on ceremonies. At the age of 16 earth years, Toku-jin children are accepted into society and gain all the privileges that the adults have. Privileges include: Running for goverment positions, the ability to go to higher places of learning, leaving the planet, and being able to marry.GovernmentThe government of the Toku-jin is not very well known. The officials are hidden from the types of "press" that belong on Toku. Rarely is a government face seen totally. It is believed that the government is controlled by a whole other society. People of unimaginable wealth, (comapared to human standards) and with radically different abilities. Also, it is believed that when members of the natural society join with this "secret" society, they are never allowed to leave. In other words, if they lose position in the other society, they are killed in a ceremony of great importance. The government controls much of the same things that Earth's different governments do.ReligionThe Doku-jin and the Toku-jin are alike in many ways, except for religion. It is believed all over the planet, that if there was a god, then it wouldn't have turned its back on the universe. They do, however, believe that the universe was created in a Game. This Game was played by two people. One, an Inroyusite, and the other, a Toku-jin. The rules of the Game are as follows: 1.) The creation of singular planets is not allowed. Hence the sister race. 2.) The abilities of a race shall not out perform any other race. 3.) The destruction of a single race created by the other, is allowed. 4.) Keep the contents of this game within boundries. That is the Game that is continually being played.Common Abilitieshe abilities of Toku-jin are varied. Shortly after birth, the child recieves a talent. Each talent is unique, and so far, no talents have been known to repeat. There are varying degrees of talents. The largest known currently, is held by a member of the other society. His/her talent is transformation into any sentient being. The lesser talents include, changing into one being or being able to create small holograms. Society often will judge individuals on the basis of their talents. Much like Earth.Peace EnjudgementEach Toku-jin has the ability the change. The change occurs when the individual is at total peace with him/herself. If total peace does not occur, the change will never happen. This is called Peace Enjudgment, or PE. No other forms currently exist. Unlike Saiyans, Toku-jin must always be at peace with themselves at the moment they need the form.Race Created By: Sei |
