Rules, Regulations, and All that stuff
Everyone MUST fill out an application form to do any sort of posting on any board. But first, let’s go over a few items of the game. After you have read all of this, only then can you start to fill out your form. These are important to the game and are strictly enforced.
Rules and regulations
1. Plagiarism WILL NOT be tolerated. If you are caught copying someone
else’s work, you will automatically be removed from the game.
2. Strength in the game is determined by your class, but is also determined by
your status in the game. If you are a Trainee, there is no way in hell that you
can beat a higher up. For one thing, you’re a trainee and just started, and
another thing, that’s just plain unreal. As you gain points, rank, and
experience, so will you gain strength. WE DON’T ALLOW
ONE HIT KILLS EITHER. This includes destroying Mavericks. The game would suck
if that happened all the time.
3. Grammar is a HUGE part in this game. Spelling errors are common. But grammar
plays a big role in the game. People have to understand your writing in order
to play along with it. Everything is posted in PAST TENSE. Meaning: Write it
like it’s already happened. And try not to use the same words at the beginning
of a sentence over and over. Being repetitive is very annoying.
4. Stick to your class. Each class is given a certain amount of weapons and
certain strength ability. These can only be changed with points. If you’re a
Ranger, you can’t have the Fighter’s strength. A Mechanic can’t have the
Ranger’s stealth, and so on and so forth. Your character develops as you write
and gain points. But just because you gain more weapons and abilities doesn’t
mean you can change your class. Once you choose who you are, that is who you
will be throughout the remainder of your stay.
With the rules out of the way, let’s go over the classes. These are who you are
going to be. Each one has it’s own fair advantage.
They also have their disadvantages.
1. Warriors are the strongest
and have average speed. Their intelligence is average.
I. Fighter
-
Fighters are the strongest of the classes. They aren’t as fast as Rangers, but
what the lack in speed they make up for in brute strength. They can carry one
basic weapon and three special weapons.
II. Knights
- Not
the Knights that wear tin armor and ride horses! They still follow a code of
honor. These are close range fighter and fall between a Ranger and a Fighter in strength. They
are given one basic weapon and three special weapons.
III. Shadow
-
These are the assassin class. They are equipped with a Dark Blade and a
Holoprojector. Dark blades are a type of beam weapon that was designed to draw
in light rather than give off light. They can also carry one special weapon.
IIII. Monks
- As
the times change from Maverick threat, everyone feels the need to defend what
he or she believes in. Monks are skilled in unarmed or hand-to-hand combat. They are normally
equipped with energy gloves or gauntlets. They can have up to two special
weapons
2. Ranger are
the fastest and has average strength. There intelligence is above average.
I. Forest Ranger.
- They
protect the forest from Maverick attack. People aren’t the only things in
danger of the Maverick threat. They are not at ease in the cities. This class
doesn’t make good hunters as most of the hunter activities are in cities or bases.
Tends to use high tech versions of old weapons
like a plasma bow or beam sabers. Starts with a basic weapon
and one special weapon.
II. Military
Ranger.
-
These are the military scout force. They are the most common Ranger found.
Their skills are very similar to the Forest Rangers. They are willing to use any
weapons they can find. Starts with one basic weapon and two
special weapons.
III. Spy
- The
Spy is made for intelligence gathering. They can carry one basic weapon and two
light special weapons. (Light weapons mean that they are easy to hide.)
3. Tecks While mostly average
in speed and strength they are capable of moving their hands the fastest. They
are well above average in intelligence.
I. Mechanic
-
Mechanics are the upkeep of everything that moves. They are still formidable
fighters, but not as strong, nor as fast. They are given one basic and one special.
II. Technician
- The
Technician is versed in computers. They are skilled in all known programming
languages. They are the only ones to start with a computer of their
choice, one basic weapon and one special weapon.
III. Healer
-
Healers have the ability to fix Reploids like a mechanic and heal Humans. They
carry a Healer’s Kit, a cross between a tool kit and a med kit, as
standard equipment. They are allowed one basic weapon and one special weapon.
4. NPC's There
are also NPC classes that are available for play.
I. Researcher
-
Researchers don’t make good hunters but are generally around in hunter and
maverick baces. No weapons but several tools and a computer.
II. Designer
- This
is a rare class. They don't make very good hunters. They tend to spend all
their time designing and building new robots and reploids. Most special reploids
were made by a designer. They know some programming languages and are good at
building mechanical devices. No actual
weapons but several tools some can be used as weapons. Has access to lots of
weapons but does not know how to use any of them.
III. Normal
- This
class covers most people and reploids. While there are vast differences here
most of their skills have nothing to do with the hunters. Most have no
access to weapons and no skill at using any of them. They are likely to kill
themselves if they try to use one.
