You are in the Silk Quarter. This is primarily a warehouse district, where the merchants of Imarr store the more valuable imported goods, such as the fine Doskanese silks from which the area gets its name. There are also some merchants' villas, and the hovels of poorer folk. Numerous merchants' guards patrol the area, keeping a wary eye out for thieves.

The Silk Quarter is bordered to the west by Tarkane St, to the east by the sprawling SeaDogs' District. To the south is the broad avenue of Joltane Street. And to the north is the hustle and bustle of the Great Market.
