Interests And Attributes
I'm a strong beleiver in facets. Different faces, different sides, different aspects. Some glitter and shine, others are dark reflections of a fractured interior and are best kept secret. The more interests a person has, in my opinion, the better off they are. I have a number of different interests, ranging from the mundane, like computer programming and writing, to the archaic, like collecting mideval weaponry, to the bizarre, like collecting were-creature sightings.
Although I don't really do it too much anymore, I was heavily involved with theatre in High School, and, to a lesser extent, in College. I suppose that I was fairly good at slipping into roles, since I spent most of my childhood playing games like Dungeons and Dragons. Today, I'm heavily involved with the storytelling games Vampire: The Masquerade and Werewolf: The Apocoypse, both of which are produced by White Wolf. I'm also into their card game equivelents, Jyhad/Vampire The Eternal Struggle, and Rage, respectively. What I'd really love, though, is to design and market an entire role playing system of my own.
I'm also a collector of stones. Some people say this particular rock is 'alive' and that it 'talks' and has an interesting aura. I don't know, rocks never 'talk' to me. I guess I'm too cynical. This particular stone is Amethyst. According to the handful of new-age books on my bookshelf, this stone's purpose is to provide soberiety and temperance, as well as create an atmosphere of mental peace and calm meditation.
