Comments:Both Armor and Infantry have strong and weak points but when used in a combined force you would be amazed at what the combo can accomplish. This is a very very risky tactic so use common sense when emabarking to use the two in combo. The weakest part of infantry is cover...that is for survival. Cover is an important part of an infantryman's life. The weakest part of armor in turn is that its massive fire power covers only a small area..so that armor has a tough time dealing with enemy infantry close. So use your armor to pound an area till the enemy is suppressed, then advance with your armor and the enemy
will become very panic prone. To stop them from recovering and engaging your armor as you push right over them use infantry to run slowly behind your armor using the tank as cover. As soon as you're close to the enemy position go all out with the armor to run over the enemy while firing as your infantry follows and sweeps what is left with their small arms fire. If done correctly
you will find that the enemy position that was so stubborn just minutes ago is fleeing and being cut to pieces or ran over!

Comments: Prime targets for American troops are anything that can destroy their armor therefore destroying their offensive punch. When American units spot German anti-tank teams (PanzerSchreck\Faust), they do their utmost to destroy them. The most efficient way to use these PanzerJeager (Tank Hunter) Squads is to give them good cover such as hedges or buildings, then at scenario start order them to hide and keep them hidden so as to not attract unwanted attention on themselves until a juicy piece of American tank shows itself. When the time is right order them to pop up and fire, destroying the tank before there infantry has a chance to cut you to pieces! Then if the pressure on them is little you can hide them again or pull them back to the next ambush position. This tactic works well because anti-tank infantry are useless against normal infantry so keep them out of the fighting unless you have little choice.

Comments: When playing the Germans in some situations it is a fun and good idea to tell all your infantry to hide at the outset of the scenario then watch the americans gain confidence and cross fields or whatever in open view. Once they are exposed give the fire command and watch em get hacked to dogfood. Trial and error will teach you when this is aplicable but it works best in the Hedgegrows. Enjoy!

Comments: Hey, When playing the Germans in "Across the Aure Battle One" put A MG and a rifle squad in the bunker and the 88 in the south wing of the church aiming down the road. That keeps the 88 out of harms way and it can still knock out the armor crossing the bridge while allowing the MG and rifle squads to mutilate any infantymen who try to cross the bridge.
