This room is dominated by the canopied walnut 4-poster bed on the west
wall. Leather straps and chains dangle from the posts, and black silk
drapes surround it. The sheets are also of black silk, and are spread
with a variety of furs. In the southeast corner is a small writing
desk and the entire east wall is covered with books. To the south, a
glass door leads out into a garden, and another door in the northwest
corner connects this room with the main hall. To the north, a doorway
reveals a stairway down.
There are four obvious exits: north, south, northwest, down.
