Hmm well, anybody that lives anywhere in Australia will know of Sydney's attempts in the 98-99 summer season, the worst season that the Kings have ever had. Comming in last on the competition ladder.
As for the 99-2k season it's looking very interesting, not an extremely changed line-up (from reports so far) but a few major changes have been confirmed.
A) A new home court, then recently completed "super dome" of homebush (site for the 2000 Olympics)
B) A new coach, Brett Brown of the now defunct Nth Melbourne Giants. With previous success in being able to turn teams around and building a snese of belonging for a team he should fit well into sydney provided that "Iron Mike" will let him have some space to play with.
In any case it should turn out to be an interesting year for both the Kings and there cross town rivals the West Sydney Razorbacks.
