Mike and I originally met online. He, under the name of Starfoxalpha, had been advertising his story Tales from Nimbus, and I, being the curious kitty I am, decided to take a look. I was thouroughly amazed at the awesome graphics, the cool drawings, and the incredible story. I had recently made up a character named Flioness deLeon, a blue lioness, and decided to request a picture of her. I would have drawn her myself, but my drawing skills weren't half what they are now. Anyways, Mike finished the picture rather quickly, and I was happy.

However, a few misunderstandings led Mike to believe that I was someone else in disguise. After a few long days of pleading my innocence, he finally believed me. He sortof disappeared for awhile after that. When I finally downloaded ICQ, Mike and I were able to communicate much more easily. At first, we argued all the time, but something about him just intrigued me. At the time I had an online relationship with EMPORER2, and Mike was with a girl called StarFire.  Star ended up cheating on poor Mike, and I tried to comfort him.

As the months passed, Mike and I grew much closer. Finally, last May, Emp dumped me. I had been heartbroken and I felt rejected. Mike, however, was there to comfort me, and we grew even closer. Finally I began to realize that I truly loved Mike. I had gone on a trip to Washington DC around that time, and when I came back, I was sure of it, but I wasn't sure how I would say so. Mike had been somewhat interested in our friend Kyla, so I assumed that he had lost what interest he had in me.

But I was wrong. Soon after, Mike admitted that he loves me, and I did the same. It was one of the happiest moments of my life. My parents learned of the relationship soon enough, and surprisingly as it is, they allowed it to continue. They had grounded me from the internet, but allowed Mike and I to speak on the phone. I finally did manage to come back online, though everyone else thought I was dead or something. ^_^ As time passed, some doors were opened, and Mike was able to come visit me for the  Christmas of '99.

Soon after, the opportunity came for him to come to my prom. He came, and we had a wonderful time. He got to meet my friends from school and spend the weekend with me.

Recently, Mike came to attend my graduation. He stayed with us for a couple of weeks, so we got to do a lot of stuff together that we hadn't had a chance to yet. Unfortunately, however, we did experience a few hardships while he was here.  I didn't have as good of an attitude about things as I should have, something I greatly regret. I believe that we have both learned from our hardships together. On the brighter side of things, we spent a day at AstroWorld, a Six Flags park in Houston. We had a great time there.
