Follow the southern track westwards towards Astaroth, then go northwest to the walled
camp. Climb the wall. Cut the tent. Enter the opening. Get all from the chest (an ivory
ring and some coins). Steal the flame dagger from Centurion Muselix, or kill him,
whatever. Back out the way you came. While you're wearing the ring, when you sacrifice the
bloody carcass (from the pig) at the temple, you won't get Astaroth, you'll only get the
bloodstone. The other things he carries you don't need for the quest. Take the stone to
the castle/mansion, whatever, it's indoors, south of the bandit and swordswoman. Put the
bloodstone on the woman upstairs from the dwarf (eastish in the building). You save her,
but surprise, she dies. :) But before she does, she gives you something. Wear it, keep it
out, whatever. West somewhere of the pig is a place where you can search around, enter a
cave (behind a bush?) with a corpse, get all from the corpse. This isn't proclaiming the
glories of my memory, is it? Somewhere on the northern track is a whisper spider, along
the rockface there is a hole that you can insert the dagger into. At first nothing
happens, but a door will open and you can go 2 rooms northish towards the base of the
dark-and-nasty-tower-of-doom-and-all-kinds-of-evil-things. But first you've got to get
past the dragon.
To get rid of the dragon, go to the mansion again. Go to the west part and there should be
a mouse hole. Go all south from there and get the cheese. Then go back to the hole ahd
drop the cheese. Then you can get the case from the hole, and the scroll from the case. Go
to the dragon and read it... DONT fight him, its not worth it and he USES those heals he's
carrying, (and no, you can't steal them from him).
Oh yeah, down in the abandoned town is a store, search it, get the rope, get the hook, tie
the hook to the rope, get the grapple (it drops out of your hands when you tie it,
logically ya know). There's a shovel there, so that you can dig up a leather pouch from
the southern-most point in the abandoned town. Dont ask me what's in there, I dont
remember. ("Pothead" you're saying, eh? :P)
Anyways, once you get past the dragon, circle around the tower to the far side, throw the
grapple, climb the line, go one way or the other, enter the door, kill the nasty guy, open
the hatch, go down, unlock the safe, enter the safe (it's a big safe), get the jar, leave
the safe, go down, give the bracelet to the chimera, throw the jar in the pit and GET THE
HELL OUT OF THERE. I mean out, out past the spider, or the castle will fall on you.
