For this quest you must open a secret portal to release good powers into the world.
To do this, you'll need a paper inscribed with runes, a crowbar, a magical powder, and a
candle.
Here is the quickest and easiest way to do the quest; it will take you 5-10 minutes.
- Get a light source and travel to the Convent at Crescent Lake. (From XRoads: 9w ,10s,
10w, open brass, n.)
- Open door, n, press button, get paper.
- Go s, 2e, 3n, up, up. This is where the powder is. Get pouch.
- Now go 3d, 2s, open door, get crowbar.
- From there, go 2n, w, pull lever, go 2w, kill slug (he's easy). The portal is south of
there, but you still need the candle and a blessing for the crowbar. It's best to kill the
slug first to make sure your candle doesn't die on you (you need it to burn the powder as
well as to penetrate the magical dakrness near the portal.)
- From the 'slimy corner' where the slug is, go 3e, up, 3s, w, open door, n. Get candle.
Type 'read prayer over crowbar'. Go s, e, 3n, d, w, pull lever, 2w, s.
- Light candle. Type 'burn powder'. Type 'read runes'. Type 'open portal with crowbar'.
That's it. Directions back to XRoads from there are: n, 3e, up, 3s, w, s, 10e, 10n, 9e.
