After the casting is completed a whiplike flame extends from the casters hand. The caster can attack any creature within 10 feet/level of the caster. Any creature struck by the whip takes 1d4+3 points of damage. If the creature struck is wearing flammable items then he may incur further damage at the DM's discretion. On a roll of a natural 20 the whip coils around the creature and does 1d4/2 levels of the caster and the spell dissipates.
The whip also acts as a magical weapon to hit. The bonus' are a +1/6 levels of experience of the caster up to a maximum of +3 at 13th level. This is in addition to the fire damage from the weapon itself.
The material component of the spell is a full size whip dipped in tar and ignited while casting the spell.
