Who are these Underwoods? I bought an old photo album, and I present them here for the detectives of genealogy to figure out. These are all tintypes, nothing written on the back, but they all have names written in the album underneath them. I don't know, for the most part, how they are related to one another.
The front of the album is dated 1867, Mariah Underwood. Her photo, unfortunately, is not in the album. Note that they were all in a larger photo album with other relatives. To see the rest of the names in the album, click here.
Update; I've recently received info from Nancy Ramsay who says of these photos; "There is a William T. Underwood 1830-April 14, 1908 born in KY, buried in Day Cemetery, Sand Creek Twp, Jennings Co, IN; married 1853 in Jennings Co. to Hudla Jane Baker 1834-March 19, 1914. Children from censuses of Columbia Twp, Jennings Co, IN 1860 fam 3630362, 1807 fam 136, 1880 fam 185-188."
William T. Underwood
William T. again, a detail. I've touched up his forhead and shoulder where the tintype was rusty, using Paint Shop Pro.
Huldy Jane (Baker) Underwood. William's wife. She is on the facing page of the photo album, and there are two kids on the following pages.

Maria Jane Underwood, almost certainly a daughter. The spots on her face are rust. I need to edit these out sometime.
On the page facing her is a spot for J.M Underwood. I'm guessing this is a brother, but the photo was not here. This is good genealogical data, however.
Jonathan Underwood. Many pages away from Willaim's family in the album. Creepy lookin' guy!
