The Minor family pictures were taken the same time as the Burt family pictures (link below), evident because they were taken with the same backdrop at the same studio, and are all in the same photo album. I'd say the odds are pretty high that they are related in some fashion, perhaps through the wives. The front of the album is dated 1867, Mariah Underwood. Daniel Heminway Minor, probably the grandfather of the lot. According to the website noted above, born 28 Aug 1796 in Virginia. Wife was Elizabeth Vance.
Preston Hemingway Minor, Senior, son of Daniel, born 4 Dec 1826 in Bourbon Co, KY.
Ann Minor, the wife of Preston, and the mother of the following children, since they are all nicely in order in the photo album. AKA Lydia Ann Pace, born 2 Jan 1841 in Chillicothe MO, married 14 Feb 1856 in Livingston Co, MO.
Mary Jane Minor, b 1858 in Livingston Co, MO.
Elizabeth Minor, 6 1/2 yrs. old, born 1859, Livingston Co. MO.
Gorge D. Minor (George), not listed in the Pat Adams listing. May have died young.
John B. Minor, born 1863.
Eli H. Minor. I'm betting the "H" stands for Hufford or Hemingway, since Eli Hufford is also in this photo album. Preston's sister, Elizabeth Mary Minor, married Eli Hufford. Eli Hufford's sister, Delila (born 1815), married William Woodgate, tying together most of the photo album! Judging by the Carol Richards listing, I'm betting this is listed as "William Eli Minor", since the child looks about 2 years younger that John B. Minor. Subsequent children (at least 6) aren't shown in this photo album, because they weren't born yet! Eli is a baby in the album.
